Tips to Eat Healthier in 2022

As the weather gets warmer, and the holidays start rolling in,

the weight just seems to stick to us a lil' more.

.Here are 4 easy tips to crush your 2022 goals!

Tip #1

Make a plan. "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". If you are not the planner type, simply taking 20 minutes the day before to plan meals for the day will prove helpful. You can wash and prep vegetables the day before or take meat out of the freezer to thaw overnight. All of this will make it easier to stay on task!

Tip # 2

If you need meal ideas, check out a website like AllRecipes.

There you can search recipes using the ingredients you have on hand.

If you are like me and you buy ingredients with good intentions, this is the place to find what to do with that beet or eggplant!

Tip #3

Make it as easy as possible to eat healthy! I find that snacking is often the area where many of us stray. Try to have foods that can just be washed and eaten. If possible, have ready to go snacks, fruits or veggies on standby. And perhaps the biggest tip is put the healthy foods in reach and in sight. When you open the refrigerator you should see healthy choices staring back at you!

Tip # 4

Get rid of all the foods that are guilty pleasures! Ice cream, cookies, donuts, convenience foods, chips, soda, they've got to go! When I crave them, they simply aren't there for me to munch on, and there's nothing I can do about it, which is great.

Donate them to a local shelter or gift them to a friend who isn't quite there yet.

Success in eating healthy with you.
