Build Your End of Summer- Early Fall Skin Care Shelf

Shalom, family!

Summer can be wonderful for the garden, but it can be a little harder on the skin. More time outdoors often means more sun exposure, more sweating, more bug bites, and more opportunities for irritated skin.

One of the reasons I enjoy building seasonal apothecaries is because it helps us think ahead. Instead of scrambling to make something after a problem shows up, we can have preparations ready when we need them.

This collection focuses on simple preparations that support daily skin care during the warmer months. Some help freshen the skin, some help with odor, some help after being outdoors, and some are simply enjoyable ways to incorporate herbs into everyday routines.

As you work through these recipes, think about which preparations fit your household best and which herbs naturally thrive in your area during the summer months.
