Most folks think of herbs as something to sip, rub, or swallow—but sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is preserve a plant as a memory or study tool. That’s where an herb press comes in. Whether you’re homeschooling, studying botany, or just want to slow down and notice what’s growing near you, pressing herbs lets you keep a physical record of the plants you’ve gathered.
You don’t need a fancy setup.
A notebook and some parchment paper will do.
But a wooden press or heavy book with layered paper makes the process cleaner and longer lasting. Once pressed, your herbs become keepsakes, teaching tools, and even art.
