If You’re Still Relying on Friends to Support Your Business…

Updated: Sep 28

Sis, I love you. But if you’re still checking to see who in your circle is going to “like, share, and support” your business before you move forward… we need to talk.

I’ve been there. Refreshing the page. Wondering why my post got 3 likes. Watching friends support some random celebrity or repost a national brand, but scroll past my herbal class or book. It’s disheartening—especially when they know how hard you’re working and how much your business aligns with your calling. But here’s the truth: your friends are not your customers.  And you were never called to build only for them anyway.

You’re Not in Business for Friends. You’re in Business for Impact

Yah didn’t give you that gift to entertain your inner circle. He gave it to you to serve people beyond those you already know. You don’t need your cousin to buy your herbal tea for your business to be valid. You don’t need your best friend to repost your flyer to get your first sale. What you need is clarity, consistency, and a strategy to reach the people who are already praying for what you offer, but don’t even know you exist yet.

This is why business owners get stuck. They start small, and instead of scaling up, they shrink into disappointment when a family doesn’t show up the way they expected. But if you’re honest, you’ve probably bought from Chick-fil-A 20 times this year without ever tagging them once. People don’t share everything they support—and support doesn’t always look like applause.

So What Do You Do Instead?

Build systems. Create a funnel. Speak to strangers. The moment I shifted from hoping friends would "get it" to learning how to grow a real audience, everything changed. I learned how to grow an email list, how to warm up new leads with valuable content, how to launch without begging, and how to sell without sounding desperate.

Stop asking people to support you. Start building something worth discovering. Focus on your SEO, your brand message, and your offer clarity. You were called to be a city on a hill, not a side hustle waiting for validation.

Ready to stop chasing sales and let your business work while you rest?

You Can Be Called and Strategic

ree

Yes, you were called. Yes, your gifts are real. But walking in that calling still requires structure. You can’t just wait on word-of-mouth, random reposts, or someone finally “getting it.” That’s not strategy—that’s survival.

Herbal businesses thrive when there’s a clear plan. When you know how to collect leads, when your emails are working behind the scenes, when your product suite actually makes sense—and when you’re not dependent on someone you went to school with to decide it’s your turn.

You don’t need a bigger following. You need a system that works when you’re homeschooling, working late, or simply unavailable.

And you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Need Help Building a Business That Doesn’t Rely on Your Friends?

That’s exactly why I created the Herbal Business Vault.

Inside, you’ll get everything you need to stop depending on people who know you and start attracting people who need you. From lead magnets to product launch timelines, from sales emails to content templates, it’s the blueprint I used to grow without a team, without an ad budget, and yes, without friend support.

If you know this is your season to build a business that actually works, without the heartbreak of waiting on people who aren’t called to help, this is your next step.
